“I just ran the Atlanta 1/2 marathon 12 minutes faster than the Baltimore half 13 years ago - All thanks to coach Brandon. I needed help to achieve my goal and in a couple of short months, with his guidance and my effort, I’ve lost 20lbs, finished the race well ahead of my pace back when I was 31, and did it while staying injury free. His tailored training plan worked fantastically well. So well in fact that I’ve signed up for another race to push myself to new heights! If you want a trainer to help reach your goals with the right amount of encouragement, look no further!"

"I've been running with Brandon for a long time, but only recently has he been my coach.  He's always ready to modify my routine, depending on results from last week, how I feel today, or what my upcoming work week looks like.  I'm running slightly lower mileage than I did a year ago, but those miles are much more focused, with longer long runs and faster intervals.  I seem to bounce back from them quicker.  I raced my fastest winter hillers half marathon in two years.  My spring marathon is four weeks away, so it's still too soon to say.  But I have none of the persistent aches that so frequently dog me and ultimately tanked my performance last year.   In addition to giving good running advice, he's been a great cheerleader, giving me the confidence in the work I've already put in, so that I feel better about skipping a day when I really do need the rest."

ABOUT ME

I'm Brandon Hamilton and I've been a runner my whole life. I know how running can transform lives and make people healthier both physically and mentally. I've always had big running dreams and have run 49 marathons, including 22 Boston Marathons. But like many, I battled injuries and searched for running plans that would keep me healthy. A few years ago, I started working with a coach from McMillan Running and got faster in my 50s without getting injured. So I decided to get certified as a McMillan Running coach and help others reach their running goals. I focus on keeping you injury-free by emphasizing proper rest, recovery and "prehab" exercises. Let me help you reach your running goals by developing a custom training plan based on your level and your running goals.
